our story

Rolando Blanco and his wife, Ana, have always been in the business of servicing others. From the time he came from Cuba in 1966, Rolando loved the restaurant industry and with the help of his wife, had built a career of starting and owning several restaurants throughout South Florida. In 2011, they discovered a little neighborhood sandwich shop tucked away on NW 27th Ave and a lightbulb went off. They both knew the potential this little joint had and with one sure grin, they bought the business and got to work.

Over the last 11 years, Hoagie Hut has remained true to its core offerings of subs and cheesesteaks but has expanded to become the neighborhood staple it is today. With new additions like their bowls, their breakfast sandwiches, and their fresh-made smoothie bar, you can always be sure that you’ll satisfy whatever lunch craving you have while getting treated like family. Because whether you’re a loyal regular or a bright new face, when you dine at Hoagie Hut, you become family.
